About Me

As far back as I can remember, I've always had a camera in my hand, mainly to take snapshots when I was on holiday, or photos of my family so that I had some lovely memories of them. Things changed 10 years ago when I moved from Sussex to Norfolk and joined Wayland & District Photographic Club. www.wdpcnorfolk.co.uk
I soon realised I had a passion for photography, and with the help of some of the members, I learnt how to use a DSLR and all about the settings. Prior to that I had only ever used Auto mode and took every photo in jpeg.
Up until recently, I was only interested in landscape photography, especially long exposures on beaches, but I’ve recently taken an interest in street, urban, industrial and portrait.
A few years ago, I sold all my Canon DSLR equipment and bought an Olympus mirrorless camera and my passion for photography has grown even stronger. The Olympus is so small and easy to carry around in my pocket or handbag. I now own three Olympus mirrorless cameras, the EM10 Mark II, the EM5 Mark II and the EM1 Mark II and I am so impressed with what these little cameras are capable of.
Over the last seven years I have entered images into the East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies to consider for their exhibitions, and am delighted that quite a few images have been selected. I've also had images printed in Olympus's online magazine.
I am still exploring different avenues of photography and looking forward to broadening my horizons by visiting places far and wide. My wish list includes Norway, Cuba, Iceland and many of the Scandinavian countries.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my images, I hope you liked them.
